  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey fellow RedUsers,

After 2 years of looking, we found a LOMO Square Front 35mm Anamorphic lens with an OKT19 mount.

This lens was just finished being serviced (today)by Paul S. at Visual Products and checks out on the projector there.

There is a scratch on the front lens, but apparently it does not effect the image.

I already have the ANA Foton Zoom, 50mm and the 80mm in PL mounts and as it is virtually impossible to change this one from OKT19, we must sell it and let someone else with an OKT19 mount enjoy the beautiful images it is capable of capturing.

We paid 3800 for the lens and 425 for the full service/check-up at Visual Products.

Please make me an offer with these numbers in mind.

I will trade for another PL mount anamorphic lens that we dont already own.

I have not been able to find anyone in the CONTUS that will remount a LOMO lens. Please share your knowledge with us Nick!!! :)

If you do decide to send it out, follow Viktors shipping directions. Russian customs is all kinds of corrupt and bribe ridden so if you send packages fedex, they can get tied up in customs and be a big pain in the ass. It ends up taking about the same amount of time with the slow standard shipping because there are no customs hassles. SPB is a reputable company, they have done PL mounts on 3 of my square front anamorphics, 4 canon k35s, 4 Ekran speeds, and I think maybe a couple more I am forgetting. Nice folks.

Brandon, I have a pristine front element for the 35mm square front for sale if you think that would move you closer to getting a better price.
 
Alternately buy a Oct 19 RED approved mount. No big deal to swap the mount out and works fine.
 
I have many adapters from Ryszard in Poland http://en.foto-akcesoria.com.pl/index.php/kategoria/34/red-one-mounts. I converted my lenses to PL with Dima Turaev <dimaturaev@gmail.com> ($350 to $500 each) I am not sure but I think Viktor (SPB sale) is his father. They made me a rehousing for a OKC1-100-1 and OKC1-150-1 for use them with an anamorphic round front block. work great!!
 
Viktor does exceptional work with Sq Fronts.
 
Hello Rick. I'm new to this forum and very interested in Lomo Anamorphic. I have an 80mm square front and use it on a PMW-F3. Works a real treat. I read that you have a 35mm squarefront for sale? How much?
