I've decided to slim down my equipment package and I'm selling off some lighting, grip gear and other miscellaneous accessories.
I'm happy to sell the lighting and grip gear as a package or individually and all sales will be cash (in New York City) or PayPal (if I'm shipping elsewhere). Packaging and shipping costs are not included in the sale price and will be calculated depending on your location and added to the final price. Colortran Open Face "Super Beam 1000"with carrying case Asking price: $150
Model #LQF 10-50, 120 V, 8.3 A
This is an open face tungsten unit bulbed at 1000W (bulb included) with a 5/8" pin receiver and a set of barndoors and a storage case. The light is used and shows some wear and tear but the reflector is super clean and the light has solid wiring throughout and a 30' edison extension. The plug is old-school and should be replaced with a modern edison plug. I tested the light and it works great...awesome spread, perfect for a key light with diffusion or as general fill.
Colortran 300W Tungsten Fresnel Asking price: $125
This unit is a tungsten fresnel bulbed at 300W (bulb included) and has a pipe clamp installed, ready to hang. You can easily convert this unit to be used on a lightstand by replacing the pipe clamp with a 5/8" pin receiver. The unit is used and shows wear and tear but the fresnel lens and reflector are super clean. The wiring is solid throughout and the unit comes with a 3' grounded edison extension. The plug and the extension are old-school and should be replaced with a modern edison plug and cable. I tested the light and it works great...perfect for a backlight or kicker!
Lowel Softlight 1500 Kit with carrying case Asking price: $450
The kit consists of three Lowel softlights bulbed with two 750W bulbs each (for a total of 1500W per light). These lights are superb - well designed, providing beautiful soft, reflected light and they pack up quickly and are easy to transport in the carrying case.
Kit includes:
* three softlights with a 5/8" pin receiver (ready for a light stand) and attached power cable
* three reflector covers (black on outside, silver on inside, one per light)
* eight barndoors (two per light plus two spares)
* three pre-cut sections of full spun diffusion
* two spare bulbs
* carrying case with handle
I tested each light and they each fired without any problems. The reflectors have no tears in them but could use some touch-ups with silver reflective spray paint.

The kit consists of six Colortran open-face tungsten lights fit with 5/8" pin receivers. One is bulbed at 1000W with an FHM bulb, two bulbed at 1000W with DXW bulbs, two bulbed at 650W with FAD bulbs and one bulbed at 500W with a GDA bulb.
All lights have barndoors except the 500W light and all lights come with a power cable attached. The lights are used and show some wear and tear and rust on the bodies but the reflectors are SUPER clean and in perfect condition.
Kit includes a carrying case with handle, a homemade mini-scrim kit, and a set of cardboard black & white bounce cards that fit in the case.
Colortran Two-Riser Light Stands, 5 total with carrying case Asking price: $175
The stands are lightweight but solid construction. All stands are 5/8" two-riser and in great condition. The knuckles are painted orange as shown in the pictures. No rust or damage, just normal wear and tear from regular use.
In addition to the equipment above, I also have some miscellaneous stuff I'd like to get rid of. I have six gator clamps, four with 5/8" stud and two with a clamp for a stand or arm. I'm asking $25 for each clamp. I also have A LOT of gel - color correction, diffusion and party gels that I've collected over the years. Most of the gels are smaller cuts but I do have some larger ND and diffusion cuts. I'd like to get rid of the whole lot for $30 OBO.
I've tried to give as much info as possible and set reasonable prices. If you're interested in something, make me a good offer and I might just take it! I'll try and put up pictures but I can also email them directly if needed.
