Greetings,
Everyone has multiple matte boxes right? Just eating up space? Well here's mine.
- Letus35, MCS (Hurlbut approved! LOL) matte box
- 80mm backplate for small primes
- fabric donut for larger lenses (up to 114mm iirc)
- 138mm circular polarizer
- Schneider linear polarizer (combines w circular to create variable ND)
- 15MM rod mount.
You can still buy parts, notably backplates! https://www.letus35.com/camera-gears/
Nothing wrong with it at all, it's just a really big studio style mattebox and that's not at all my setup. It's a little atypical bc it uses one filter tray that you stack up to 3 4x5.65mm filters into at a slight angle to remove reflections. Effectively gives you a 4 stage matte box.
PRICE: $100 OBO - CASH, LOCAL PICKUP IN NYC/BROOKLYN ONLY
