A gyro is a system which keeps, handheld, or tripods steady. The internal mechanism spins and keeps objects at a constant making them more difficult to move around therefore more stable. Kenyon are a very good maker of gyros and anyone who wants the smooth shot this is for you. The KS6 is only built for equipment up to 6 pounds so for RED it would not work but such things as the canon Xh-a1s and DVX200 it would work wonders on stability.
