  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OKAY guys, I know I'm going to get it, after much B%#@ breaking but ...

I just got confirmation of the approval for one of my major projects, for which I will have ZERO time to use my RED,
as most likely three professional DP's will be hired from this forum, and will have their own RED ONE's, to be used with MP and full crew,
and I will not rent it out, and don't wanted seating collecting dust till next year,
I have decided, after much tough, that I can't keep it as a collectible, so I'm selling it,
since by the time I'll be able to use it personally, will be already next year,
and by then I'll buy new ones or if EPIC will be ready I'll be upgrading to them instead.

I'll be looking on Three DP's and Four RED's (one for back up), asap as the script is finalized and casting concluded as well I'll begin introducing names to the EXEC's.

But I will pick you up soon on your offer for the Casting Director you mentioned.


I know the RED house is going to rock when all details will be released!

Thank you so much for your wonderful support, you guys rock like no other community.

Actually is two projects that are going nearly at the same time, but obviously principal photography starts at completely different times, as I'm the writer and one of the Directors in both, as well as acting in it.


I can't yet get any details out, but I can say that one of them will represent the highest budget movie to be shot 100% on RED (at list that I know of).

It is one of the Sequels from "Live Chronicles of KETCHROSSI" and the wish list, is as impressive as it can get, we will be trying to get Mel Gibson to Direct, Brat Pitt to play my brother, Monica Bellucci to play my young mother,
George Clooney to play the hospital Director, Cameos by Matt Damon as himself, The Rock as himself, and the list goes on, but please do UNDERSTAND that this it is for now nothing else but a "WISH LIST" and I will confirm the participants when final contracts and funds are finalized, as everything will be posted on IMDB.


But no doubt this are the most exiting moments of my entire life, and what my life has been all about, reaching this very moments.


Selling the camera is something I decided to do for more then one reason obviously, contradicting my self in a profound way since I have been a pain on Jim's A$@$# about the changing of the rules of delivery back when I couldn't get the cameras out, and then I did,
and now I'm selling it, but I realize that what inspired me it was not the camera but JIM him self going against the current and fighting it with all He had and achieving so, what was considered the impossible, so I was not alone trying to do what every one else was considering the impossible, and I continued on, so today here I Am.


Letting go of the camera, since I will not be using it till early next year, as I'm also producing a Special Edition Calendar Book with twelve Models, each from a different country, in which half of the proceeds will go to charity,is the only right thing to do, and use the funds to fully support my current projects.


I promise I'll flood this forum with info, and images asap as I can.


BTW, on an other note I just Directed a pilot for "Divine Garbo" a motion picture in B&W shot 4K with the assistance of Blair S. Paulsen (RED #19) as DP. which He was absolutely great and provided excellent advises in more then one instance, I highly recommend his services to anyone.

Will post some Stills as well as footage as soon as post is completed.

Ketch, can't wait to see this. Sounds like it's going to be a great story. And you've got a great name, so it works well from a marketing perspective right out of the gate.

Having you behind the RED, was invaluable to the shoot, as well as your advises and dedication to the LOOOOOONG shoot, (sorry about that) they were very long hours for me as well, especially having forgotten my MED's, again.

Will give you a reel, to add to your DP list, asap as we finish the Edit, and Color correction.

Prepare to work with me again, soon, very soon.
