I am one of the first to get in line for the Dragon sensor upgrade for this camera. This is your chance to jump the line and catch a dragon by the tail.


The funds will need to be wired directly to my account at RED once an agreement is reached on the terms of the sale. Buyer is responsible to pay for any transfer of ownership fees. I will be responsible to pay if Red decides they need to make any repairs during the evaluation. If you choose to do the Dragon sensor upgrade and would like to keep it in my name during the 90-day warranty, that can also be arranged.

I haven't decided on a price yet. We will just have to see what the demand is. Keep in mind this will likely be the first Dragon to be sold on the open market. Likely a couple months before you will be able to have one shipped new from Red.

And the reason for selling?
I want the $ wired direct to my account at Red to help pay for my other camera to get upgraded. And order a few more accessories... :-)
 
Probably becos of these reasons, Red is slashing the prices of the old ones drastically everytime a new one is released... They will remove the "M" privilege too if this continues...

This sounds like a taxi licensing fiasco in NY back in those days...

Sorry. No... Curran is one of the very early adopters of the original RED One. He is an early Owner who has been a huge influence on some serious filmmakers on the East Coast and is a Great RED Ambassador. Far from a "fiasco" Rama.

Not sure why they would do that, the Epic M people paid 43k for the brain with PL mount & SSD to queue jump
 
i think that is really kind, that you are not capitalizing on the timing of this , i hope you sale goes smoothly to a very happy buyer.

Lots of interest but still no actual offers.... I think once some footage is unleashed there will be a bidding war for early Dragons.
