All that is needed to work on Epic or Scarlet is a simple one piece Epic Riser or Shim plate manufactured by several companies including Element Technical and the Full Metal Jack Plate by View Factor. Several other companies are making risers for Epic and Scarlet as well.

These plates require the EPic Riser Plates made by Wooden or ViewFactor, Action products, Red, etc etc.

I use this one with my 19mm plate

Thanks Tim. This is for if the Element Technica Bridge Plate is to be used with the Epic?

Correct. The EPIC requires a shim to make sure the lens height is correct for MB and FF. this ET 19mm works great with EPIC and is still the standard.
People just need to buy the shim plate to make it work with EPIC and SCARLET. Works great as is for RED ONE

I would also like to add, just to be fair - that a lot of MBs and FFs don't require the shim plate and you can easily adjust to fit most lenses... Though always better to be safe than sorry!
