I am thinking about selling a set of my new Cooke S4/i's that are ready to ship soon. Set of 7:

18, 25, 32, 50, 75, 135, 180mm.

Please PM/email me your offer's but I'm looking to get around $160K USD for the set. As you all know, there is a huge wait list for this set of popular/beautiful lenses.

$158,000 US plus free shipping. (Feb 28 update)
Thanks,

Norm

can you offer 18,25,35,50,75,100?

also is it possible to get 16 instead of 18?

please email at mahadev at kshitijcamera dot com.

regards.

Does ZGC know about your plan?

Revised the lens set info post above:

- It's actually a 7 lens set, not 8 lens set. (No 100mm)
- Revised the price accordingly
- Deleted the 2-2.5 year waitlist. I'm not sure of the exact waitlist time so I deleted that part. There is always a large backorder/waitlist though because of how popular these lenses are.

Wow, 160K for 7 lenses that cost new less than 120K just to cut the waiting line.
Then the buyer has to rent them for at least $1600 a day just to get a return in a 100 days of rentals which used to be 50.
I rent my 10 lenses set for half of that a day. Heard of productions that tell the DP "choose any 4 lenses you want but that's it you shoot with 4 lenses"
So I just wonder how rentals are going to survive?

Hi David,

Thanks for your comment. Maybe it would be best to message me privately about these things though.

The S4's that I tried to buy from you before, you wanted to charge a premium for them and they were the old used S4's that weren't the "I" version. You said you already made your money back with them too.

The Leica set you wanted around $230,000 US for them even though you purchased them new for less than the new retail pricing of $198,000 US.

I am selling to those who want the lenses and are willing to pay a premium to get them as they are hard to get. You also do the same.

Please leave your personal opinions offline.

Unless you are a Cooke dealer I'm pretty sure the warranty is voided when you sell these.
Can you confirm?
