  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FS - Contax Zeiss Lenses: 25mm, 28mm, 35mm

Hi guys,

I've got too many of these lenses laying around. I'm thinking of trimming down everything I've got doubles of. All the glass is in perfect condition. Everything works as new.

So here we go for the first lot:

C/Y 25mm F2.8 - I actually prefer this lens to the 28 but it isn't quite as versatile as the infamous "Hollywood" 28. Great little lens.

C/Y 28mm F2 - Killer lens.

C/Y 35mm F2.8 - There are certain situations where this lens actually preforms better than its bigger brother the f1.4. Very small and it is super sharp.

The 28 is AE the others are MM.

They all have Canon EF adapters.

I will be uploading pics when I get back into the studio.

Anyone notice how KEH.com has completely sold out of Contax? What's left are just a couple of telephotos and knick-nacks. There has been a recent RUN on Contax! Patrick may be the last place left to get some of these! :laugh:
 
if only he would respond to my messages. lol im dying for that 25.
 
nick, have you used the 16mm contax zeiss lens?

Yeah the 28 f2 is pretty awesome. I love the close focus, and the bokeh wide open, something the 25 can't do.

However, the 25mm is great also, it's one of my personal fave focal lengths (24/25).

I have both of these lenses in AE, and in particular like how they pickup and flare the sun when they are backlit.
 
Sorry everybody for the delayed responses but just after I posted I got called out on a rush job.

The lenses were all sold about 30 minutes after they went up by a gentlemen paying about twice what I thought I was going to get.

The offer was so good I had to make sure it wasn't a scam.
Turns out he just really wanted the lenses and hadn't found them anywhere else as KEH has dried up and ebay is touch and go for quality.

Point of the story is that if you've got a set you are lucky as someone seems to be swooping up the left overs.

Yeah I don't know what's going on. KEH is wiped out. But B&H and Adorama still have some stock.
