In mint condition, comes with lens hood. Pm for pics. 77mm front. Does not come with any adapter.

Will trade for non macro 100mm contax zeiss f2.0 and a little cash. The lens is amazing and several will attest to that.

PRICE IS 950 + shipping. In box with pouch and original papers and lens hood. and all caps. :)

PS nick, is the 60 macro equally good?

Shooting with the 60 seems to be a guaranteed way to make video village erupt into expletives. People just love the way it looks. I haven't compared it to the 100--and didn't know the 100 could also achieve 1:1.

i do know that my 60 is so sharp even at 2.8 we have to grade it softer to match the "normal" Zeiss...

Both are SUPERB, and have almost NO distortion at all - what you want in a Macro lens. At 5.6, they are almost identical (though the 60 appears to be a bit sharper in the center, whereas the 100 has better performance edge to edge).

Wide Open at 2.8, these tendencies remain: the 60 may be a smidge sharper in the center, but the 100 is certainly better at the edges (in particular at 40lp/mm, where you see the resolution of small details).

This is what makes the 100 so special. It is SHOCKINGLY even across the frame, and across apertures. It is perfection. Whereas the 60 is optimized for perhaps even BETTER performance in the center, which on S35 (on a cropped sensor) is a great thing.

Horses for courses. Both are great in their own way.

I can attest personally that the bokeh on the 60 2.8 is BEAUTIFUL and painterly.

I may opt for that as a macro lens

Just remember that the working distance on the 100 is better. You can be further back. I used the 100 a couple of weeks ago doing a macro shot on a model's eyes, and even then we were 9 inches from her face. On the 60 we would have been even closer, and it probably would have been a bit nerve wracking for her.

very true. I dont do too much macro, but would be nice to have the option
