FS: Century Optics B4 to Arri-B Super 16 Adapter & Arri-B to PL Adapter Made by Arri

Hello! Up for sale I have a Century Optics B4 to Arri-B Super 16mm optical (1.32x magnification or so) adapter for sale, along with an Arri Bayonet (and full Arri Straight mount) adapter made by Arri themselves.

The Century Optics B4 to Super 16mm adapter was designed to use B4 lenses with Super 16 film cameras, but like all Super 16 lenses, it will also work with the Blackmagic Pocket (and other cameras if you engage the 2x extender found on most B4 lenses, although the 2x extender wasn't really designed for that - you're going to get decreased resolution and increased aberrations in the corners if you do that, although the center will still be sharp.)

Tested on my DSC Labs 4K Mega Trumpet, I was getting 4K resolution across the full image circle, so resolution is going to be more dependent on the B4 lens itself. I don't know for sure what kind of optics Century used in this adapter (according to Matthew Duclos, Century's other teleconverters - like their 2x PL to PL - used Nikon glass) but I couldn't see any prism based chromatic aberration inside the s16 image circle, even wide open on the B4 lens.

The Abakus 132 (which I used to own) did seem better, but I never put them on a head to head test. I just shot with the Century a few days ago and the level of clarity really surprised me.

Here's some more info on the Century adapter - http://web.archive.org/web/20060505...ucts/film/super16_accessories/transformer.htm

The lens itself has no scratches, haze, or fungus, just several specs of internal dust.

I'm going to put the price at $1250, half of the original cost, but feel free to send an offer as well. The price includes shipping in the U.S., and plus shipping elsewhere.

The Arri-B to PL Mount adapter, made by Arri, is designed to work with all Arri-B and all Arri-S mount lenses (unlike every other Arri-B adapter out there, I believe, which won't work with certain Arri-S lenses). The adapter is designed for a quick mount and unmount by squeezing the tabs on each end.

I believe this adapter was $1500 originally. I'm going to put the price at $750, half of the original cost, but feel free to send an offer as well. The price includes shipping in the U.S., and plus shipping elsewhere.

Also, if you were interested in both adapters, you will need to shim the Arri-B side of the equation to get everything perfect.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
