Hi,
I have the following set of lenses for sale:
Canon K35 18mm T/1.5
Canon K35 24mm T/1.5
Canon K35 35mm T/1.4
Canon K35 55mm T/1.4
Canon K35 85mm T/1.4
+
Canon 14mm T/2.8 (Optex Conversion).
+
Peli case 1550 for the six lenses.
----------------------
The lenses are optically in PRISTINE condition (no dust, scratches, marks, etc), with very good mechanics and some external signs of use, as you would expect from vintage optics.
The K35's have been converted to PL mount from their original BNCR's by OPTITEK (Jacek Zakowicz) in LA less than four months ago and they've just been serviced by System Grip in Madrid (Spain), where they are located.
Focus scales are in feet, except the 55mm, which has scales on BOTH feet and meters. The 14mm Optex, which I bought after the main K35 set, is a very nice companion and intercuts well. It's being serviced right now, so I will add some pictures of this lens later.
The K35's are very lightweight and compact lenses, specially designed for cinematography by Canon in the 1970's (they won a special achievement award in 1977 and are NOT converted still lenses) and they really shine in low-light and when used with today's high-resolution digital sensors (such as Red Epic/Scarlet), they provide an amazing organic & cinematic look. Wide-open they also veil and flare very easily, in a very appealing way, but are sharp and contrasty by T/2.8.
The six lenses COVER every 5K format on the RED EPIC and should cover DRAGON 6K as well.
I'd like to sell the six lenses together, but would sell the K35 set alone as well ONLY to good offers, since I'm considering buying some other equipment with this money, but I'm not sure yet.
Send me a PM or email me at info@harmonicarental.com with your questions.
