Not sure, I haven't even tried. I believe they do work on the original 320Gb drives. I think some brand of eSATA cards had some issues.
Anyone?

Won't work at all on any 640 drives, and only on older 320's that never got some error fix update that eliminated the eSATA/Lemo functionality. Too bad, I'd love to not have the FW800 bottle-neck too.

They work on a couple of older 320 drives that have not been upgraded. Not upgrading those drives is taking a chance though. Having sata is pretty great though.

This cable is of no use on any of the newer or upgraded drives. I have a brand new one that I was never able to use.
