I have available a brand new Bartech Focus Device and Bartech Digital Reciver, both completely unused and in mint condition. I was waiting for a digital motor that had too long of a lead time and the project it was set aside for has passed. Also including a spare BFD antenna and mounting bracket (normally optional items). From the manufacturer the lot sells for over $3,000 and there's a 4 month lead time if you place your order with the company today. Selling for $2,800. Pictures below. Shipping is included in the USA or come pick up in Burbank at your convenience - not a problem.

Edit: This item has sold.

Hi Blair,

That's correct: this is the Bartech controller (and receiver) and you pair it with the motor of your choice. Options are available from Preston, Heden, M-One, etc. It's a standard protocol that will work with any of the usual motors as long as they are digital. Motors are readily available now; I purchased this in November (but never used it) and the M-One motor I had ordered at that time was in perpetual backorder. Here's one for sale on this forum:

Sounds like he got delayed, too. :)

Thanks!

M-One's are out of backorder now, and if you call the company they can usually get you one in a few weeks. Heden and preston motors seem to be in backorder at many places too.

I'll give you $2,000 straight up as I already have a motor. Located in Van Nuys.

Hi Tom,

A motor isn't included in the package; this is just for the transmitter and (digital) receiver. It's over $3,000 new. Mine hasn't been used even once, so it's as new as it can get sans Jim handing it to you himself. :) I'm just trying to find it a good home. Can't take $1,000 off the price, however, sorry.

Hi Haakon,
How did you mount your receiver to your Epic?
I rigged up a 19mm rod clamp for mine, but its a bit bulky and if I can stay away from having to rig the 19mm top rods, I do.
Please tell how you did yours.

Hi Jeff,

There is a gentleman in Australia named Louis Puli who has made custom mounting brackets specifically for the new digital Bartech receiver (it doesn't work with the old analog ones). His intent was to mount it under the lens rods up front (which of course you can do), but I paired mine with one of Brook's "stealth" plates and mounted it vertically to the dumb side of the Epic. I don't use a side handle, so this was a great spot and it balances really nicely with the side SSD module on the other side. It also allows you to set the camera down without damaging the receiver. The digital receiver is awesome because it's so small and lightweight and gets out of the way.

Here are links to the two products I used:

Hope that helps!

Haakon,

I'm aware that it doesn't have a motor. Your asking $2,800. I'll buy it from you for $2,500. Lets do it? Where is it located?

Häakon - just sent you PM
