Just use the handle only, and bolt to the top plate with handle pointed forward, or make a riser 20mm tall and use 1/4 20 1" long bolts to the top plate on Epic pointed backwards, it needs a riser to clear a V lock better, or use a wooden camera nato clamp on a swat rail. All sorts of ways of making it work.
