FS: ARRI MB-14, Used Once...

ARRI MB-14 4 stage matte box, 19 mm / 6.6" x 6.6" with filters (Schneider ND set (,3/.6/.9/1.2) and Schneider attenuators (.3/.6/.9)

This was used literally once, it is fantastic condition, like new.

I would not like to separate the filters from the Matte Box -- as I have no use for just the filters without this particular MB.

Accepting offers, ready to sell, need to free up capital.

Here are the details of both items.

RED
I was not the original owner, I purchased it off a guy named Andy Jackson. Andy, without my knowledge, sold someone else this camera’s allotment for the EPIC upgrade. He apologized profusely and said “I’m broke, I needed the money!” and basically discouraged me from suing him as to there was really nothing to recover.

Even though the transfer was made to me, he retained login/password access and went behind my back to order the upgrade and have it shipped elsewhere.

So for those interested in flipping this low number camera into an EPIC, unfortunately it is not an option.

This camera has the original Mysterium sensor and has been serviced regularly by RED. It was last in approximately 8 months ago for a cleaning and replacement of a port.

I paid over $6,900 for this unit less than a year ago and used it two times. In addition, the filters that come with it cost over $3,100 new. I purchased it and all filters from Steve Cohen at Abel Cinetech.
