I am interested, but can you please confirm if the lens would work fine with my RED Epic? I got feedback from 2 separate individuals, one stating that it works fine, while another person said it has severe backfocus issue and the focus calibration will not work properly with RED Epic. Please confirm and also I would like to have few pictures of the item. Does it consist of a carry case? What all does the package consist of?

Perhaps the person you mentioned had a damaged lens? Perhaps that individual lens needs to be callibrated?? What he or she is saying about the 45-250 in general is NOT correct.

The 45-250 Alura works perfectly on Epics or any other camera with a PL mount. Its an incredible piece of glass--everyone that has used ours have LOVED them. They cut especially well with Ultraprimes.

Hey Raajan, the Alura works just fine on the Epic... No backfocus issues at all... & like Paul said they might have some calibration issues with their lens
also, i'm sure you know how people are in our "industry"... they'll discourage you from doing the "right" thing

Btw, i've done business with Norm & he's a great guy to do business with... @ 32,250 i think it's a good deal.

Actually the Alura works amazingly with the EPIC. I have used it lots of times. Way better than any Zoom I have used.
