Doing a little pre-spring cleaning and getting rid of the lenses I don't use anymore to free some some cash.

Tokina 28-70mm F2.8 Pro I - The famed Angeniuex based lens. This was the 1st version Tokina made of the lens based on the original formula... hence the most close matching. The other versions of the lenses either have had coatings tinkered with or built on lesser quality. Externally it's in absolutely mint condition with no scratches at all! Full metal as well. Optics are perfect and very sharp. I've used this lens for a few projects and have always gotten consistently fantastic results. Only selling because I use my primes more often.SOLD

Zeiss Contax 50mm F1.7 - I use my 50mm F1.4 alot more than it and feel like it could go to another home. MMJ version which is EXTREMELY sharp wide open at F1.7. If you want to get into Contax lenses... this is the first one you should pick up. Stepped down to F2.8 this thing absolutely obliterates any other lens I have. In mint condition with a couple faint nicks on the body. Optically perfect with a few specs of dust inside which don't at all affect IQ. Focus is smooth but only slightly gritty at times. Comes with original Zeiss box. Asking $250. I'll throw in a free C/Y to Canon adapter as well.

The Contax 1.7 is wicked sharp. Especially wide open, in a way that no other under F2 lens I have is. In that regard, it's UNIQUE.

I don't have any Contax lenses but your 50 looks interesting. Do I understand correctly that it will mount directly on my Canon mount?

Terry,

It won't actually fit on the Canon mount bare naked by itself. I'll supply you an adapter that mounts to the lens which makes it EOS compatible.
