you mean it is "impossible" to convert it to pl? Could you explain why? And how to use it on say an epic?

To use on an Epic you need to get an Oct-19 mount (on your Epic).

Apparently it can be re-housed to PL, but the cost will be high (even using Russian lens techs), so expect $3K-$5K.

This is the basis for the Ken Rich Mod'd Powerscope lens.

Exactly as Andy wroted. Possible - but truly - why if you can use perfect adapter for 300 $ without touching original mount of unique lens. Adapter OCT-19 to Epic PL. You can get second one to MFT and all range of cameras secured....
