FS 18-50mm from the first batch!

For sale: Red 18-50mm from the first batch! I've heard repeatedly that the lenses shipped to the first 100 had better mechanics due to them being hand-selected (better QA, etc). This one shipped with my #27 in the beginning.

I've taken good care of it, it always had a Tiffen 72mm UV filter on the front.

Also included is a 72mm circ pol.

I know several from the first batch that got returned to RED.

I can definitely say that there are differences in the batches as far as mechanics goes. Our 18-50 lenses (2 of them) have different characteristics in the way the actions move.

Since we got them with #378 and #834 I'd be inclined to believe Shawn's statement Stephen.

$5,000 is well worth it for this lens as it is optically very good and the small size and close focus ability make it a perfect starter lens and walkaround lens for Red.
