I have for sale an extremely rare Pathé Fréres Professional 35mm Cine Camera, c1908. It belonged to my father in-law, cinematographer Larry Pizer and was a gift he received from the lab he used on "Isadora".

Here's a couple of shots. PM me if you're interested or want to see more shots.

I met Larry a couple of times when I was first in the biz. Nice man and extremely well thought off.
I sold my collection of historical camera about a year ago and got great representation through Christies in London. They have well known museums and collectors ready to buy your type of camera. Just a thought.
Kindest Tony Covell.
PS Chaplins camera passed not sold at £30k in the same auction.

wow that is beautiful!

wow that is beautiful!

That's a piece of art! A machine that could have filmed any of the silent movies we still watch today!

Interesting fact was that while the camera and accessories had provenonce the magazines did not except one. The reason was that they had central loading and magazine revolved through several cameras from the same studio. Cannot remember which that was? I cannot see any modern video camera getting that far in historical terms. Tony Covell. Happy days!!

If I didn't have R1, I'd snap it in a heartbeat.

Just kidding. Nice piece of history.

So would you put a pl mount on it for your Master Primes or put in an underwater housing = or both?

The viewfinder port on the back side of these also doubled as a lamp port. The camera served as its own projector for showing the films.
