FS: 1/2" B4 zoom lens Canon VCL-810BX

Has a macro function as well as 8-80mm.

Wondered if anyone might be trying to put a low budget Red system together and would be interested in this lens?

You would obviously need a b4 mount for your red too but then you would be ready to go and with a wide variety of focal lengths!

Probably anyone who can afford a red can afford to spend thousands of pounds on very fancy glass, but thought I would ask as I'm trying to raise money for a HVX/firestore!

I looked into this a little and I'm not sure it will work.

For this the red would normally use a 2/3" lens but this is 1/2".
I expect this might mean vingetting even in 2k mode. Maybe it would still be useful for the macro function if you could zoom in slightly to get rid of vingetting but I don't know.

It's hard to even find out much info about the red and 2/3" and I don't know much about red to top it off!

Anybody know more?
