From jib crane to handheld (Ronin) transition in one take

I want to move a Ronin gimbal from a jib crane to handheld back to the jib crane all in one shot. The crane has a 100mm ball head. What is the best/smoothest way I can go about doing this without it being obvious? The camera will be constantly moving throughout the scene but not that fast

I am thinking a quick release of some sort will work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Believe Ronan handle bar same diameter as Freefly Movi, and if so, should work.

I was looking to actually attach it sturdy to the jib crane instead of hang it.

I do actually need something like this to attach to a rope for another scene, however $200 is way to much for something I can do with a rock climbing clamp (forgot the name) and a trip to home depot.
