Hey Guys i am sure u have heard bout the "Fright Night" remake releasing this year on the 18th of august,it has been shot on red one mx with zeiss master primes. It is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Anton Yelchin as the troubled teenager Charley Brewster and Collin Farrel as the vampire Jerry Dandrige and David Tennant as the self proclaimed vampire hunter Peter Vincent. Looking forward to this one for another good(red mx)reason hope it will be good.

this is the 1st look at david tennant as peter vincent

Hope this movie is as good as the original classic. So what do u guys think?

I'd love it to be good. I'm a huge fan of the 80's classic. I think the key to maintaining the same sense of "self-aware" but still scary horror that the 80's was famous for is to maintain a feel of the 80's films while still integrating changes that are neccesary in order to resonate like ideas and themes to a modern audience. For instnace, Tennant's take on Vincent, totally a neccesary and understood change. He's obviously going for Chris Angel. he couldn't have been like the other guy because we got tired of seeing that kind of character in films soon after, so, I think this COULD be amazing. The casting is solid.

I think I still have a VHS copy of this movie! Love it.

Yes Brennan i agree with you, david tennant 's peter vincent is going towards a more chriss angel type direction, well looks like this movie is updating itself for the modern audience quite properly...lets see how it works
