I've got an operator who's used to shooting on cameras like the HVX200 pulling his hair out over the mounting of the RED LCD. We've been using the RED arm, but what he wants is something that can be adjusted without having to unlock and re-lock, a simple friction mount like the HVX LCD that you can just grab, twist, and let go. It only needs to be adjustable in one axis, the tilt axis, and have some way of mounting it to our rods or handle riser.
Does anybody have a solution, or even a starting point (buying hardware parts and custom assembling something is perfectly acceptable) that would get us moving towards a friction mount for the monitor?
I guess the most basic thing we're looking for is something that functions like the Element Technica EVF mount, but for the 5.6" RED LCD!
