tried before; looking for response

I would like to have an adjustable frame, for doing splitscreen/fix horizon/ keep part of the frame clear for inserts / make my own set up for 16:9 in 3k 2:1 using S 16 lenses etc.
I know most H /D XD cams and video assist on aaton arri have this......
hope this can be done in build 17

You mean, self adjusitble lines to make your one safety frame!

I love to have that too, my panasonic 900 can do that and it is easy for the operator to do.
I. was shooting with the RED for a framing for digital projection of 5 by 20 meters. We taped the monitor, but i had to gues the hight in my EVF.
Nearby framing was 1:2.40

So yes please adjustible frame lines JIM !!

Especialy for shooting models on the catwalk. Presentation is often on straight up standing screens. Before you shoot with the camera on its site, with RED you can shoot normal, easy to operate!!

thanks
