Framerate for commercial shown in North America & Europe

We are about to shoot a television commercial that will be shown in North America and Europe. The North American Network asked for 60i delivery and Europe 50i.

Should we shoot at 23.976 and conform to 60i + 50i or should we shoot 25p and conform to 60i + 50i ?

Which frame rate do you recommend for initial acquisition?

Sorry if this is the wrong thread.. not sure where else to post this.
 
IIRC when I shot big tape HD for international.. we shot 59.94i for the North American broadcast, and then in post delivered a Pal cross conversion from the final output.
You may have an audio sync issue in the conversion
Talk to your exhibitor's QC departments before proceeding
