FPS question

I am giving serious thought into buying a Scarlet but I was hoping someone can confirm what the latest firmware will do? I know that with the standard scarlet X that I can only do 48 FPS at 3K but I heard the new firmware can do 60 FPS at 3K? I fly a copter and I'm looking for a camera that will give me the most resolution at 60P.

Correct, 60fps but only in 3K WS (2.35).

To be clear, it's a beta firmware (likely become a release build in the new year). And it is 3k *widescreen* (2.35:1 aspect ratio - 3072x1307 or something), not 16:9.

The new beta firmware, not the release firmware. I've been using it without a glitch so it's safe.

with fw 5.1.29 you get:

5k / 5k 2:1 / 5kWS / 5kHD - 12fps
4k / 4kHD - 30fps
4kWS - 36fps
3k / 3kHD - 48fps
3kWS - 60fps
2k / 2KHD - 60fps
2kWS - 75fps
1kHD - 90fps
1kWS - 120fps

thanks what is the difference between 5kWS and 5KHD? Sorry for the newbee question.

The aspect ratios are different--Hd is 16:9, WS is 2.4:1
