Hi,

I notice this forum runs vBulletin, but video's linked to YouTube and Vimeo use a Flash player.

In my case, using Safari as my primary browser and only flipping open Chrome in those cases I need Flash, it means I don't even see any trace of a missing Flash plugin. I just see someone's comments and then a blank line. Same thing on my iPad, and because of the implementation of the Flash player code I do not get a link to go to Vimeo or YouTube to see the video on their site or in their player.

How difficult would it be to implement a video player in vBulletin which leaves the type of player up to Youtube and Vimeo? Vimeo's new player is HTML5 first, and for YouTube I am in the HTML5 program.

My apologies if this has been asked before. I did not find anything relevant when searching for "html5".

Perhaps this is why i see no vimeo links posted on reduser on the ipad.

Vimeo embeds on this forum don't work properly for me even with Chrome. The full screen button in them does nothing, so I always end up having to go to Vimeo's site to actually watch anything.
