Hi all,
the guys @ Formatt-Hitech have been in touch about a new product range they are about to release and have allowed me to post details of them before the official launch. This is a world exclusive!!
The 'Firecrest' IRND range is supposedly a quantum leap in filter design and gives completely neutral attenuation. Even up to 10 stops!!
Samples have been provided to RED DC UK, Panavision, Arri etc for testing and I've been told that Abel Cine will be undertaking side by side comparison tests at their LA store soon. They have also informed me they will be available to purchase on their website soon - no word on cost yet but I'm already trying to negotiate an 'introductory discount' for us all
Here is a link with some more info: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1wobzszsocjpa6t/Firecrest ND.pdf
Looking at specs on paper, these puppies look sweet.
as soon as I have more info I'll post on the board.
O.

I like it. Not that the dragon would probably need it but my good old MX would love it
