Formating Redmags 1,8´´ 64GB SSD card

[Josef Niedermeier]

Hi,

I just got my RED SSD Module und one REDMAG 1,8´´ 64GB SSD card. I installed the module, put the card into the slot and startet my RED ONE MX. I initialized the formating of the media - and after one hour its still not ready but the body get really warm. Is this noirmal? And how long does it take to format a 64 GB SSD card?

Thanks for Your help!

Josef

did you update your fw first?

Hi,

no, I didn't. Do I understand correctly that the heating of the body is not normal and that the duration is far to long!?
