Format Conversions?

Hi Folks,
I've been using MPEG Streamclip for most applications prior to working in UHD for all of my conversions and downrezzing for online promotions etc, such as YouTube and Vimeo. Now that I am looking to start dealing with larger formats and MPEG Streamclip seems only to work up to 2K I'm wondering what folks are using for NLE associated conversion software or plugins etc.

I am shooting timelapse in RAW 8K Masters and looking to downrez as needed for inferior format requirement deliverables.

Resolve Studio can do this to some degree, but I'm not sure what the limits are on Apple Compressor. I think you'll find zero companies are using 8K anything for the moment, but it's reasonable to expect some of them are using 4K. Netflix, Google, and Amazon have delivery documents on what bitrates they expect for H.265 and VP9 UHD material.
