For Sale: Two Red 320 GB drives

[Mike Yonts]

I'm selling my two 320 GB Red Drives along with power supplies, Element Technica shock mounts, drive cables, and a Storm case. The case has the foam plucked out to hold the two drives and one of the power supplies. I'd like to start by offering the whole kit, and if no one wants that, I'll break it into individual pieces. I purchased the drives new from Red in December 2008.

The drives have been on several shoots, but the shoots have always been one- and two-day commercial shoots with experienced crews. They've been handled very carefully and have never given me a speck of trouble–they've never been in an environment more extreme than a front yard. I've switched to SSDs and no longer need these drives.

Each drive has its own Element Technica ISO-Plate shock mount. It's important to note that I don't have the part that connects the ISO-Plate to a camera rod, just the part that attaches to the drive and has a V-mount. I have replaced the tiny hex screws that hold the drives with thumbscrews. (There are a few little marks on the sides of the drives from these screws.)

Here is everything that's for sale with the original prices:

320 GB Red Drive #1..........$900
320 GB Red Drive #2............900
ISO-Plate #1........................250
ISO-Plate #2........................250
18-inch Drive cable #1.........200
