[FS: RED Gear] For Sale: RED Pro 5" LCD

[Adam Heath]

Hi All,

I've just sold my Scarlet-X and have a few accessories remaining to part with.

My 5" LCD is in absolutely immaculate condition. In truth I only shot less than 40 hours of material with the Scarlet so the whole thing had very little use overall. The screen is in perfect condition, comes with it's mounting screws, cable, soft pouch, and the box too.

I'm UK based so this may best suit a local sale.

I'm looking for £1100 for it.

Thanks,
Adam.

Hi,

I'm looking for a used 5" touch monitor like yours, but my budget us $1275 USD. Exchange rates are funny: brand new from red it would cost me $1600 USD, and yours would cost me $1800+ USD. I see why you said its suited for a local sale.

Best of luck!

Totally agree! And it's not just exchange rates but the premium that seems to be added to the price for the UK RRP. I wish we could buy all our RED gear for the GBP equivalent of the USD price!

Yeah, unfortunately when in Italy and need to buy US gear, not just form RED, it ends up costing an additional 33% of Taxes and Import Duties... Then there is the exchange rate too....

Good luck with your sale Adam.

If in Italy (likely same for the rest of Europe too) and purchase anything from the US, yes, there is a 33%+ to pay for Customs Import Duties and Taxes... Not sure on percentages form purchases from any other country.

It is 28% in India , for any camera related accessories .

60% in Brazil...

This is what makes production expensive here in Europe. You guys based in the US count yourself lucky! I have sympathies for Brazil, though 60% import cost is crazy!

Holy shit...
