  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

For Sale: RED One and full kit + Nikon mount

Jay, i dont agree either with you either...truth probably is if he knocks 8-10k you wont sell it but you'll buy it, as would I...

ross 25,000 is probably what its worth, but as you stated you are in a global crisis so some flexibility is recomended, but not much!!

Please explain why its worth MORE than a BRAND NEW one which is under warranty and one that DOES have the upgraded audio board?

This makes no sense Sergue... with all due respect, this sounds more like denial.

A LOW SERIAL number (under 150) seems the ONLY reason to pay the same as a new one as there is no longer a wait for a new one...

Remember outwith the US, the exchange rate for the dollar has dropped through the roof. Here in the Uk we purchased our Red when the rate was almost 2 dollars to the UK pound, now it's down to around 1.35 to the pound. On this basis I would fully expect to sell a UK Red for at least what we paid for it. perhaps even more :)

Obviously this would NOT apply to those in the US purchasing cameras from the UK or elswhwere.

Be careful

Be careful

If a used R1 are sold at almost the same price as a new one - why buy the used one?
You don´t even know if you are getting one of those cameras with the rebooting problems - read other threads.
And - naturally - have the camera been changed and improved during these two years. Therefore a camera from -07 can´t have the same price as a new one. Impossible.
I also think this crazy prices for used cameras destroys the market. Of course you can refund it for new RED models but I still think we must be fair to each other.
I would like a complete list of improvements made inside the camera from #1 until today. Naturally these improvments are worth money - and lowers the price of early cameras.
