  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FOR SALE!! RED ONE & all accessories (#241) $19,000 OBO

What I learned in this forum is that redone owners are prioritized before new customers in getting epic and scarlet. Because red offers the trade in for full price, the redone camera will hold pretty good at current price level. When the in-traded cams are being re-soled, they probable have the new sensor installed, and that make then also hold up in price. ..or correctly early (pre 1000) redone will hold up in price. Your #red number, is your que ticket :)

What I want to know is if the buyer of #241 here will get slot #241 for Epic. . . or does that just go for cameras purchased directly from RED?

Does the camera have to be officially registered with RED? That is, does the one who buys this body have to send it back into RED for "certification" for $500?

if they want a 90 day warranty .... or perhaps the seller could do a lease to own and the warranty should stay with the original buyer ..all warranty work would have to go thru the orginal buyer ( pretty sure it doesn't have be ship to & from Austrailia to a Red center ...just means they would have to be slightly involved with repairs till warranty expires ..IE: making sure it gets shipped to address of their choice )

note: that 241 will have to sent in for the audio , i/data pins , batt power pack , batt plate, PL torex screw UPGRADES - i think Red also gives the camera a check up at the same time = the camera should leave RED meeting full specs ...
