  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ehm, sorry, but where is stated that transfer of ownerships after 30. oct do qualify for epic X?

didnt read in the announcement that this is possible, i thought it was to cool down the "skipping line auctions"

no smartassing here, just want to know.

did you verify this with RED?
 
yeah, you need to be clear in the ad...transfer of ownerships post-Oct. 30 do not qualify for the extra modules, only for credit towards a new body.

unless the buyer and seller can forge an agreement where the seller does the transfer and then passes on camera ownership of the EPIC-X to the buyer. but this is a little tricky, since we have no clear delivery schedule.
 
I have clearly misread/misunderstood the guidelines for the Epic upgrade program. Original or second owners that have paid the transfer fee are eligible. It is a bit ambiguous if the transfer must have been done by Oct 29 but reading anecdotal accounts from redusers on this forum it seems as if this is the case. Thank you all for the information. I am going to contact RED to clarify.
