I feel your pain Paul, but I think with the pro primes around the corner, and so many other lenses about to enter the market, people are going to hold onto their cash until they know what's what... Unless you provide an offer people have to look twice at.

Sadly, the value of glass is falling quick. This kinda sucks hard.

If you wait, and the other lenses are shit, then this one will be in demand.. Or... It could go the other way

I agree on your outlook Jay, but in this case I'm happy to hold on to the lens if I don't get asking price. It's a phenomenal lens! I'll actually be a bit sad to see it go but I have to be pragmatic given that we are primarily renting our equipment out right now and it's not earning its keep locally.

guys! does anyone have an idea about a follow focus unit (maybe like the one in the first picture) that works with RED 18-85 lens? i regertebly purchased the REDROCK followfocus unit which didn't work with this lens!

The ARRI FF4 just barely fits. The ARRI MMF-1 fits great. The new OConnor CFF-1 will fit very well as well.
