SOLD. SOLD.
ZEISS 10 to 100 T2 Tstar ZOOM. This covers 2K RED as I have tried it carefully. I will sell in its original Arri B mount for $1825.00 or with a PL Adaptor that is correct and tested for $275.00 extra. The lens has good glass and no fungus present. It is cased in an Ally rigid box. This is a very nice lens for a good price. Close offers considered. I will pay shipping FOC anyplace worldwide. Contact Tonycovell@talktalk.net based London.:)

How many iris blades does this lens have? What is the minimum focus? Any shoots you can post demonstrating contrast, sharpness or bokeh? Thanks.

does the front lens barrel turn = as in .. if you have a clip on matt box - does it turn when you focus ? ...
is the front 80mm or ?

Front does not rotate.
Most 10-100 T.2's have an 80mm front, as far as I know.
That's a nice lens and a terrific price, Tony!
Cheers,
Harry

Hi everybody.
The Min Focus is 5ft.
5 iris blades
The front does not rotate
The dia is 80mm
I have no shot images.
I have No clip on mattbox. wysiwyg.

This is priced to clear [SALE] not to dump it has no prob,s I am aware of and I have checked on a Red and on a collimator.

This is a great lens for the money, snap it up.!!

Sorry, but I have to say that I´m sure the lens vignettes wide open and at close focus, from MOD up to 1.7m (5 1/2 ft)... check that! I bought one of these lenses but had to buy the Optex S16 adaptor (already very hard to find... P+S Technik had two and I bought one!) that turns it into a 12-120 T2.4.

Hi Charles, I will check that out again. but when we looked last week it looked ok. However; Rear optical units to go 11 to 110 with all accessories are available from "Sir Gear" on this site he is a Reduser contact. Good price as well. Tony Covell.

Guido,
The nearest inscribed focus mark on these lenses is 5 feet.
However, you can focus closer; but at 10mm, the lens vignettes (even in normal 16) If you zoom in you can focus closer without vignetting, I think to 3 feet. Pretty well known to most of us that were using this lens a lot in the 1980's and 1990's.
There is also a Macro mode on most of these lenses where; at 10mm, you push in a button and the zoom becomes the focus. You can literally focus right up to the front element. Pretty cool.
Not sure if this one that Tony is selling has that feature.
I'd also chime in that Tony sold my friend Bob (tubular on reduser) a 300mm Nikon PL mount that was very nice and clean, at an amazing price. So I'd vouch for Tony (not that he needs it; I think many others here have already sung his praises)
This might be a great lens for a Scarlet 2/3"... I'm hanging on to my Cooke 9-50 as well just in case.
Cheers,
Harry

Harry is exactly correct and this lens does have the macro facility. I am going to re check the lens tomorrow again so I can re answer any Q,s carefully. But I dont think I need to change anything.
Hang onto the Cooke 9-50 zoom Harry, its a beautiful lens and cannot be repeated.

I can convert this lens to a 12-120mm as well. If anyone is interested.

OK for those who posted. I checked this lens today on a Red. The vignet is not present at 7ft. It is not present at 5ft if you tighten zoom slightly. The macro works fine and very close the vignet is not present. IT is present at 10mm at 6ft and below and is slightly worse at 2.8 However; It must be said that this is in the very corners of the frame and may well be missing on safe action areas after editing. I am not sure that the whole frame is used on 2k ? screen image. As Harry says if you know the slight difficulties its not really a problem.
The lens is now under strong offer and I will post when its sold.
Thanks for the kind words, I try hard for my clients. TonyCovell.
SADLY I am not at NAB this year!!
