Jeff, Abel Cine sells the 1030HDS brand new for $5,100 (link). Is there anything different about the demo version you're advertising for $5,600 ? Thanks

Hi Yousuf,

There are several differences.

First of all, they do not include the Eyepiece Leveler Bracket ($435 List Price) or the Assistant's Front Box Mount ($365 List Price).

Second, they are pricing it with the "Mini" European Platform ($710 List Price) where as I price it with the "Large" European Platform ($830 List Price).
Most everyone out there uses the Large which accommodates the standard size Quick Release Plate.

Third, the Handle & Handle Extension are the smaller or skinnier 3/4" version.
This will not work with the industry standard Oppenheimer Micro Force Handle.
That requires the 18mm diameter Handle which is in my packages.

And finally, they have it packaged with a 100mm Ball Base where as I give you the option of Mitchell or 150mm.
Those Bases with Tie Down are an additional $210 List Price.

Bear in mind that you are not required to get any of the accessories.
The heads can be purchased simply as a Head with Base of Choice & Tie Down for even cheaper.
The Eyepiece Leveler Bracket, Assistant's Front Box Mount, & Handle with Extension are all optional.

If you do the math you will see that these Demo Heads are exceptionally priced, double the standard discount.
