These lenses look fantastic on paper! I could definitely use one on allot of the work I do. I was wondering if anyone has used the Fuji Cabrio 19-90 on recent projects and would care to comment on the 'look' of the lens and how it was practically.

Thanks Julius

I recently had the chance to use the Cabrio on a feature and found it a very useful tool to have on hand. It covers the 5K of the Epic, has a great focal range, and is easily hand-holdable. The fact that it looks like an ENG lens might turn some folks off, but to me it makes a lot of sense; why not have the zoom integrated instead of having separate motors always slipping and needing adjustment, plus the extra cabling that gets in the way. I shot with a number of other lenses on this project including Zeiss Standard Speed primes, (which I had to constantly watch for vignetting on the 5K), but the Cabrio held it's own as far as optical quality. I haven't seen it side-by-side with the higher-end Fujinon zooms, but at a fraction of the price, I wouldn't expect it to compete on that level. For the price and features, I can highly recommend it.
