Hi

the canon optex 135mm F2 is still for sale, Les Bosher will ship the lens for me
you can call him, he can't remount it in PL, so again it's BNCR mount

paypal or bankwire

thank you

Yes it does match the K35 ! many have the bncr version set, so a good lens for portraits

it can also be used for the PL mount users with an BNCR adapter for Red EPIC

Hi!
i hope you didn´t need to pay Les Bosher to find out he couldn´t remount it. I sent him the same looking lens a couple of years ago. It took him a long time before he got back to me to tell me it wash´t possible. So rather surprised he did this again. I believe there are others out there that can so don´t give up.

Hi

well actually when i brought the lens the first time ( in 2011 ) to Les, he told me it will be difficult to him to remount the lens into PL, because the BNCR mount is close to the iris mechanism,

so he didn't want to spend time on the lens, too much work, and BIG BILL

then a month, after searching to find a solution, i found someone who told me he could do the job, but i decided at that time to keep it and use it with an adapter when needed

and didn't want to risk to loose collimation . I prefered later to go for another lens ( 200mm 1,8 ), and save money and time

i don't need this lens anymore, so it has to go

the optex lenses are TOP quality, and this one cover Full Frame, perfect for cinematography and photgraphy = PORTRAIT shots

My 135mm Optex Canon exactly same as yours was converted to PL by Jacek at Optitek - about 5 years ago- He did a great job - If he doesn't do the conversion anymore True Lens Service in UK may do it.

Nick

Jacek is a fantastic lens technician.

He can do this conversion.

Give him a call at Optitek.

I got the answer, Optitek can convert it into PL, as Les told me = expensive, because the conversion needs a lot of expertise and work , no surprise, so it's cost saving to use an adapter with a set of K35 in BNCR
The lens has to go

minimum focsing distance a little bit less than 4,5 feet = 137 cm

best cost saving way to use the lens = for BNCR users who already own an adapter

TLS in the UK will put a PL mount on this.

Just as a reminder

the lens 135mm /F.2 covers full frame 24x36 so no worries if sensor gets bigger !
it matchs super baltar and high speed k35 .

minimum focusing distance : little bit less than 4,5 feet ( 137cm )

BNCR mount

This is a perfect lens for a BNCR K35 users, also be interesting for a PL K35 users who could add a tele lens to their set and add value to it

the price for this BNCR lens is 2000 euros + shipping cost
