For Rent: Arri Ultra Prime Set: 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 50mm, 85mm

[James Houk]

I own a set of Arri Ultra Primes, marked in Imperial (feet), that are available for rent. PL mount, S35 and Red 5k coverage. (Note: I've been informed the 16mm DOES cover RED EPiC at 5k perfectly) The set is all T1.9 and includes a 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 50mm, and 85mm. Lenses are located in Nashville, TN. $1250 a week for the set. Proof of insurance required.

These lenses recently finished a project and are available again.

They ship in a custom Innerspace Cases road case.

Send me a PM if interested.

Emasile,

Thanks for letting me know that. I'll update the listing accordingly. It will cover in 4k mode though, correct?

[Esmaeil Neisi]

What do you mean 'does not cover' AND what aspect ratio are you talking about?

I'm primarily interested in short term rentals, but am open to discussing a lease. I'm not looking to sell.

This reduser thread has people who tested lenses for RED EPIC 5K FF coverage, and they found the 16mm to be "perfect".

I really wish I had an EPIC right now so I could look for myself.

5K coverage perfect

5K coverage perfect

16mm Ultra Prime covers FF 5K perfectly.
I've used it several times on theatrical features - no problem.

I also have a 16mm Ultra and it covers fine on my EPIC shooting 5kFF.

[Jon Jones]

Actually, I take that back, it vignettes on the corners in 5kFF, but it should cover 5k on the dragon sensor, so there's a bit o' good news for ya!

I also have a 16mm Ultra and it covers fine on my EPIC shooting 5kFF.

[Nathaniel Kramer]

i have a 16. There is no vignette with the epic.

James, great to know. I might rent from you in near future. Do you ship to LA?

[James Houk]

I'm happy to ship to LA. Typically renter pays shipping. As long as there's not a scheduling conflict, I'm good with slower (3 day Saver) shipping.

Proper insurance is a must, obviously.

The lenses travel in an Innerspace Case, so they're well protected.

[Ayan Pratap]

Great. I will keep you posted when needed... of course there will be insurance.

[James Houk]

bump.
