It is a fair question... the only suggestion I would make is to always be careful with your money in good times. That's when people tend to forget that life is cyclical. We spend everything when times are good thinking "this will never end" and then panic when we are over our head when it turns... and it always does. Each time this happens we seem totally surprised. I have the luxury/curse of having seen this stuff over and over. The 1st few times I was shocked at what a precarious position I had put myself and family in.
I believe in enjoying life. I also believe that that can be done with what's left after I have prepared for most doom possibilities. Prudent is not a very cool word. But I believe in it now. We really don't need most of the stuff we buy... stuff that ends up being "peace of mind bandits".

I've never seen an armored car and moving van in a funeral procession -
There's a saying in Toronto relating to the three city newspapers. "When the Globe and Mail says 'buy', you should already have your position, when The Toronto Star says, 'buy', you should be selling, and when the Toronto Sun says, 'buy', you should be totally out of it.""When everyone is jumping in... the smart guys are getting out".
... Nobody on their death bed has ever said "I wish I'd have made more money and spent more time at the office!" There is much more to life...
To balance out my investments in trade equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.) and our house, I've been working hard on paying off all loans (getting there), storing food and water (mostly done), staying in good shape ("health is wealth"), and learning survival and self defense skills (mostly done, but its an ongoing process). I've been wealthy, I've been poor, and everywhere in between. Each status has taught me a lot about life.
The Boy Scout motto is "Be prepared". Those who are prepared don't give in to fear. To that I'd add - "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".
There is a big difference between our "wants" and our "needs". The sooner we learn that, the sooner we can get on with the deeper meanings of life. I believe we need water, food, shelter, faith, and the love of family. Everything else is in the category of "wants".
I've never seen an armored car and moving van in a funeral procession - we don't take our "toys" and possessions with us. Nobody on their death bed has ever said "I wish I'd have made more money and spent more time at the office!" There is much more to life...
I'm infinitely more impressed by someone's character than their net worth.
Lastly, if we have excess funds and time lets all remember to help those around us to "learn to fish". In the process we usually find ourselves...
those two metals will NEVER be less than the current price of the dollar..

Be aware that's just your opinion today, it's not a fact. The desperation phase is usually a strong buy signal.
I think the answer is clear, invest in gold plating your Epic and silver bullets
I don't know, man. I think zombies are a much more imminent danger than werewolves. Much smarter to invest in shotgun shells. Of course, only time will tell.
I like your thinking Zakaree, any recommendations on where to purchase physical silver? I'm thinking 1oz coin form but I'm not sure.. I know they come at a premium though.. Appreciate your thoughts sir ; )
