Hi, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to go out and shoot some video to help me out, the purpose for the footage will be just for helping me get used to REDCINE-X Pro and to help me learn the basics of the software.

You may be thinking well whats the point in getting used to the software if you don't actually have any RED cameras and the reason is because I am looking into getting a Scarlet-X but don't have enough money at the moment, so i thought i'd learn about post-production as i cant currently work on production side.

I would like just a few establishing shot of anything (as long as it isn't rude) e.g. roads, buildings. As I am in the UK i would like it if you could work with a project frame rate of 25fps and shoot 25fps at any resolution about 2K please, but this isn't essential as its only editing anyway.

Hope someone will help!

John

ok cool.. i'm shooting a fair bit over the week so I'll get a few pal-friendly bits together

Thanks, hope you get some good weather, its been chucking it down over the last few days here!

yeah same here.. but we're going to be doing some location stuff so hopefully it'll just add to it all a bit. PM me you're email address and I'll let you know when we have stuff

Gary your PM box is full, so ive posted the message below.

Well I'll look at the different options and then I'll set myself a proper budget and then look at what i can get with the budget and see which options would be best, thanks for the advice and information.
