I have received footage that was shot on a Red Epic with the wrong shutter speed on accident. The footage isn't something that can be reshot unfortunately. It was shot at 23.98 at 1/500th instead of 1/48th. Is there any thing that can be done in post to save the footage and make it look smoother?

Use ND's next time.

That wasn't the problem. It was shot at the wrong shutter speed by mistake. I would like to have suggestions on how to salvage the footage in post.

There is also a motion blur control within Resolve:

This will work when you have a high-speed shutter (like 45 degrees or 90 degrees) and the images are two crisp and staccato in terms of motion. If you have the opposite problem -- too slow a shutter angle, like 360 degrees -- I dunno what could solve that, since the smear would be built in.

Can you post a short clip, like ten seconds?
