Id like to share this cuisine video from Réunion with the community.
This video is a featuring with a fine food photographer who won Cannes Lions last year
It took about a week to shoot, my Scarlet X sure is a fine little camera.
We used natural light cause we think simple is beautiful.

Feedback is appriciated

Great reel, liked the food shots, vary clean, NICE.

What lenses where you using, and did you use 6:1 or 8:1 compression or something else. PPr is a great editing tool for Red footage.

Great Job! For some reason I have a strange obsession with shooting and watching footage of food being prepared. Whats strange about it is that I'm vegan, you would think I'd be appalled by animal products being cooked, but when it's through a lens it's always interesting. Now the thought of eating animal products to me is a different story haha.

I used a collection of contax zeiss lenses to get the shot 18mm F4.0 35mm 2.8 50mm 1.4 85mm 1.4 and 100mm macro 2.8
to me its the best zeiss for the bucks.
Most of 4K 24Fps footage were shot using 8:1 compression
and most of 1K WS 120 Fps footage were shot 3:1

+1 Pr pro also +1 RedcineX for primary color correction. I've corrected the color realtime leaving both program opened. Compatible RMD files for this is really usefull
