I recently purchased the Redrock Micro Torque Motors for the Movi Pro to use via the Movi Controller...sweet system. However, with my Zeiss CP.2 lenses not having the same resistance on the focus and iris from lens to lens it seems that the Torque motors can't always move them. (Some lenses almost never work...some don't work as it gets cold, etc)

I see that they came out with the Redrock SLS motors...any opinions on them? Any thoughts on torque motors not working with CP.2's all that well?

Redrock is saying they work. Not sure what do to, just can not stand something not working on set.

Appreciate the help/thoughts.

Just my 2 cents, I have had great success using the Optiron 2 and EF lenses (Sigma ART in my case) on the movi pro, simple set up, no rods etc. and much lighter.

Thank you Mark ;-) That's very kind of you. Yes we made the OptiTron with quick, simple light weight setups in mind.
