I really like my microFollow Focus Blue. Just used it on a fast paced super speed shoot, also had a RPZ 50-150, and it all went fine. The SuperSpeeds had a lot of movement in the focus ring, so I had to position the RRM FFB to reach both ends, but I was able to do it, and that is all on the lenses.
I cannot express how much I want the wireless ready fingerwheel system from RRM. I do so much run and gun work with a healthy dose of commercial and feature work, that the fingerwheel system is EXACTLY what I am after. Freddy Wong had a funny bit of product integration in his behind the scenes video for ( i believe ) his Hitman parody on YouTube. You can see it in action there. For me, the fingerwheel will be a godsend to my rig... as soon as I can afford it. If I can get it in the next couple months I will do a write-up! Then I can add in the wireless remote on the next project that has need for it.
Loren, maybe RRM could make some threads for lenses that have a lot of movement when focusing? Like a ring that is an inch wide? I love your products! Thanks for listening.
