Does anyone make a good focus hook for the EPIC/Scarlet? I would to just bolt up the REDone's focus hook to my scarlet's easy stick (wooden Camera) because it will be in perfect alignment with the focal plane. But I think the bolt is too small and would not fit a bigger bolt. Any suggestions would be great.

Funny I was just wondering the same thing today. I have a Cinevate hook from my Red One, but it doesn't work on the Epic. Seems like an easy part to make and would be a nice accessory to have.

It's a very over look feature I think we need on the DSMC platform.

Thank you Nicholas, here is another link: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?70858-Allstar-Top-Mount-for-DSMC-is-available

Can that focus hook be mounted to any top plate or easy slider plate. Or do you need that top handle because it's a one piece? That would be perfect if you could mount it on anything.

Visit the website linked, Jon; it's all one piece. 19mm rod mounts, focus hook, a hole for adjusting back-focus, hot shoe, and handle, $300. I plan on getting it in the near future.

If that's not you're thing, use a screw. Really. 1/4-20 screw sticking out of whatever-plate-you-have-on-top will be your cheapest, easiest, most effective solution.
